Unity College began in 1984, in a rented building with only seventeen students. It has since developed into a much larger campus that educates about 2100 students in grades lower nursery through XII on terrain that spreads across almost six acres, sustaining more than 64,000 square feet of classroom and administrative buildings. These modern facilities accommodate classrooms, fully equipped Science and Computer labs, an expanding library, an assembly hall that seats 400 students, a cafeteria, infirmary and a playground that is maintained for sports and other activities.

University Of Lucknow or Lucknow University (LU) is a government owned Indian research university based in Lucknow. LU's old campus is located at Badshah Bagh, University Road area of the city with a new campus at Jankipuram. Founded in 1867, LU is one of the oldest government owned institutions of Indian higher education.
LU's alumni contains Former President Of India, governors of various Indian States and acclaimed poets, Scholars and lyricists.
LU is organized into more than 146 colleges, and institutes, located throughout the city and other surrounding areas.
It is affiliated to University Grants Commission; Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU); Association of Indian Universities (AIU); Distance Education Council (DEC). Other accreditations include National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC); National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE); Bar Council of India (BCI). The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is fourth in the prestigious IIM family of management schools to be established in India after IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. The establishment of IIMs was envisioned and initiated by the first Prime Minister of India – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The Institute was established in the year 1984. Since then IIML has touched million lives directly or indirectly through its faculty, alumni and support staff. IIML moulds its students into value driven leaders, managers and global players. The institute undertakes a diverse range of academic activities aimed at creation, dissemination and application of management knowledge and practice.
In 2005, IIM Lucknow expanded its area of influence in the realm of management education by becoming the first IIM to set up a satellite campus exclusively for Executive Education at NOIDA in Delhi NCR region.
